Our home also includes a wood stove, which is excellent for cozy nights with music and your favorite snacks, as well as romantic nights with a bottle of wine. Likotinarea is a small, charming town rich with natural wonders. The villagers take excellent care of it, highlighting an area with extremely old Cretan wells as well as a rough road leading to a small, rocky natural beach.
There is a small restaurant serving Cretan food within walking distance of the villa. Many additional Cretan villages are located within 3 to 7 minutes of the village and offer amenities such as stores, restaurants, banks, hospitals, and other services.
As far as beaches go, the location could not be more ideal!
It is adjacent to Crete’s largest organized beach, which is 9 kilometers away, as well as numerous other popular beaches.
The national highway is easily accessible within 20 minutes, putting you closer to the cities of Chania (34.6 kilometers from the villa), Rethymno (30 km), and other Creta destinations.
