“We are dying at the same beach. We leave our things in the pebbles and dive into the sea. We are a lot of kids, a big company, but for me there is only you. We are fourteen years old. Maybe fifteen. We sit right at the point where the wave pops up and collect shells. It’s a good reason to sit next to each other ”
After more than 10 sold out performances in Patras from where they started their trip, and dozens of sold out performances under starry skies in open theaters all over Greece, “The Under the Stars” animate their story on stage Alpha.Idea.
Fees of the 80s, beginning of the 90s. Greek province, island town. Menia and Nikolis go together school, become inseparable, dreaming, making love, falling in love “forever”.
But years go by and reality – as it is customary – imposes itself. But the two heroes never cease to mark one another. Despite the choices they have made in their lives, among them, still burns a wild fire.
This is the ultimate showdown of a great encased love. This is the meeting they owed each other. Full of humor and emotion, full of tenderness and rejection, full of conflict and nostalgia.
This is the bittersweet story of “under the stars”.
A story of love and maturity, of the great expectations and the very harsh reality, against the background of the small community of the province, the beaches of summer and the carefree age of innocence.
“There was something dark inside his eyes. But my belly, inside her, caressed me. And in these cases the bellies are not wrong. ”
